Project Summary

The EOMN was in transition, with a new executive, a new mandate and an expansion. The new brand and website needed to support the EOMN’s goals of promoting manufacturing in Eastern Ontario, providing rich resources for members and the public, advertising important events, and enabling membership.

Approach

  • Worked closely with the Marketing Committee to establish the new organization’s messaging and positioning.
  • Worked with design partner to develop new brand (logo, colour palette, look and feel, web design, brochure design, annual event identity)
  • Search-optimized and wrote new website content architecture and content
  • Worked with website partner to develop plan for new website and e-commerce; built and launched new website with e-commerce features
  • Populated a rich database of online Manufacturing Resources for the website

Impact

  • The organization’s new brand accurately reflects the EOMN’s target membership
  • The new website is very easy for non-technical individuals to manage, including creating events, managing e-commerce transactions, and updated website content
  • The new website and print materials portray a current, professional and dynamic organization
  • Substantial administration time is saved through the automation of event registration, membership signup and renewal
  • Kaszas continues to provide marketing communications support to the EOMN- for example, we were executive producers of a video project and YouTube project that the EOMN has launched
